Claire Harbage is a photographer and photo editor at NPR. She holds a masters degree in Visual Communication from Ohio University and also attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. She has previously worked with LensCulture, YouTube, and the Maine Media Workshops and College. Claire is currently based in Washington, DC but loves to travel (by train when possible).

Claire was named one of the top emerging photographers in The Magenta Foundation’s 2018 Flash Forward Competition. She was awarded Third Place in the White House News Photographer’s Best of Multimedia Competition, received a second place award for photo editing from NPPA, and she was a part of a Women Photographers of Washington juried show in 2017.
